What is the Obsidian Arcana Conclave?

The Obsidian Arcana Conclave is a private, membership-based community for witches, healers, and practitioners of the craft. We gather in nine circles (communities) to share knowledge, perform collective rituals, and support each other's spiritual growth.

Do I have to pay to join?

No! Membership is completely free. We are a community built on the principle of shared knowledge and mutual support. There may be optional paid offerings in the Marketplace from individual members, but core membership costs nothing.

What are the Nine Circles?

The Nine Circles are distinct communities within the Conclave, each focused on different aspects of witchcraft: The Grand Hall (announcements), The Moon Chamber (lunar work), The Oracle Room (divination), The Green Hearth (herbalism), The Warding Circle (protection), The Shadow Library (shadow work), The Spirit Gate (ancestors/spirits), The Ritual Fire (group workings), and The Southern Grove (Appalachian tradition).

Do I have to participate in all circles?

Not at all! Feel free to participate in the circles that resonate with your practice. Some members focus on one or two circles, while others explore all nine.

Is this community LGBTQ+ friendly?

Yes, absolutely! We welcome witches of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions. Discrimination of any kind is strictly prohibited.

What if I'm new to witchcraft?

We welcome all experience levels! Whether you're just beginning your journey or have been practicing for decades, you have something valuable to contribute. We encourage asking questions and learning together.

Is my information kept private?

Your account information is protected and kept confidential. We do not share member data with third parties. Conversations within the Conclave should also remain confidential out of respect for all members.

Can I share my own spells and rituals?

Yes! We encourage sharing original work. Just remember to give credit to your sources and respect others' intellectual property. Publicly sharing content implies consent for other members to use it within the Conclave.

What if I disagree with someone or experience conflict?

We're a community of real humans with different perspectives, so disagreement is normal! We ask that you first address conflicts directly and respectfully with the person involved. If the situation isn't resolved, reach out to an Elder for mediation.

How often are group rituals held?

Group rituals are scheduled throughout the year, especially around sabbats (seasonal celebrations) and full/new moons. Check the Ritual Calendar and The Moon Chamber for upcoming dates.

Can I participate in rituals remotely?

Absolutely. Most of our community is digital, and group rituals are designed to be performed remotely. We provide clear instructions for how to participate from your own space.

What is the Marketplace?

The Marketplace is where members can offer handmade goods, digital downloads, tarot spreads, herbal blends, journals, and services. It's a community-to-community exchange; the Conclave takes no commission.
